The Intermont Military Vehicle Club of Virginia is hosting a great Military Vehicle Rally for the whole family from 30 September to 1 October 2016 in the Central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
The time, location and activities were carefully selected to provide Military Vehicle Fans and Clubs in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Regions of the United States a complete opportunity to enjoy their hobby when and where an event like this does not exist.
While built upon traditional activities found at every Rally such as the Swap Meet, Vehicle Displays and Judging for Awards this Rally is offering much more to do. Invite your new prospects, bring the Spouse, even the whole Family, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Advertised in both national military vehicle magazines, Heming's Motor News, regional and local car show web listings, Craigslist, local and regional classified advertising, etc.
Held on the Grounds of the Factory Antique Mall, the largest Antique Mall in the United States, there are now 80 (expandable to hundreds) outdoor paved swap meets spaces, attractive tree lined grass fields for vehicle and history displays, and hundreds of indoor Antique vendors for you, your Wife or Family to spend time shopping. We have scheduled a historic tour convoy, entertainment, guest vehicle rides and many other activities to enhance our Rally's draw for everyone. This event will be heavily advertised locally and is open to the public to attend.
Located on an Interstate 81 full service exit, Number 227, there are restaurants, hotels, camping, and museums located adjacent too, within walking distance, a few minutes drive or only one interstate exit away from, the show grounds.
For those who want to get the most out of the weekend away while driving Olive Drab, we are centrally located to many incredible activities to attend and sights to see. A short list includes New Market Civil War Battlefield, Luray Caverns, Natural Bridge State Park, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah Shakespeare Theatre, Grand Caverns, VMI and Stonewall Jackson Museums and The 116th Infantry Regiment "Stonewall Brigade" Museum. All are within one hour or less driving time of the host hotels and event grounds. Do a quick google search of these names and get even more information to start planning your trip.
Drive, explore and play one day, shop and show the next! You will not be sorry that you attended!
